I live in Alabama with my husband, PJ. My day job involves healthcare consulting and for that I travel extensively. My job frequently allows me only enough time to see airports, hospitals, hotels and the occasional decent restaurant but the perks of hotel points and frequent flier miles can’t be beat. Once in a while, I do get to squeeze in some fun. Another great thing is that I’ve been to some places that I would never, ever have thought to visit on my own. It simply wouldn’t have occurred to me, and that would have been a shame. Some of these places I loved, some I didn’t really get to see but I’d like to visit again, and a few I’ll know to avoid in the future if I possibly can. In my spare time, I also love to travel for pleasure, excitement, new experiences and a break in the routine. I’ve told my travel stories to a small group of friends for several years. They’re the ones who kept saying I should start a blog so blame them if you hate it. Also, if you hate it, go do something else. Life is too short to waste your time.
